This summer, Greg and John deWolf from Narrative Environments Studio → are teaming up to launch a design practicum to redesign NSCAD’s legendary Interdisciplinary Design → studio. Alongside a student intern, they are modernizing the heritage space, while preserving its character AND building an innovative environment to prepare the next generation of Nova Scotia designers for the creative workforce.

A rising tide lifts all ships! We LOVE a good boat metaphor. Especially when we live it through a cross-provincial collab with our good ol’ Maritime friend FARON.DESIGN →. In partnership, with Destination Moncton-Dieppe → — a new voice in destination marketing — we developed a brand platform that highlights what makes the area so special. Together, we’ve visualized a brand that speaks to the magnetic qualities and authentic experiences that define Moncton-Dieppe as a must-stop Atlantic Canadian travel destination.

Starting in January 2026, Greg will be teaming up with John deWolf from Narrative Environments Studio → to teach the final studio course for the graduating Interdisciplinary Design → class at NSCAD. It’s going to be awesome! Together, they’ll work with the students to create a design show that really celebrates all the creative talent these future professionals will be bringing to the workforce.

Greg met Kait while teaching her at NSCAD. She made a strong impression with her positive attitude, proactive work ethic, and collaborative spirit. As a graphic designer, she brings these traits (and so, so, so, so much more) to the table each and every day. We are fortunate to have her contribute her talents as we begin to build our team.

In September of each year, the Canadian Institute of Forestry (CIF) → coordinates the celebration of Canadian forests through National Forest Week. BetterDrea.ms was lucky enough to design an identity for the 2025 theme, Roots of Resilience: From Seed to Canopy. We invite all Canadians to learn about Canada’s forest heritage and to raise awareness about this valuable and renewable resource. Visual Arts Nova Scotia (VANS) → turns 50 years old this year. 50! That’s half a century supporting the growth and vitality of the province’s visual arts community. It’s no surprise that BetterDrea.ms is teaming up with them to develop their brand to meet the special occasion with all the flair and gusto the moment deserves!

Big biz, here we come! BetterDrea.ms is joining the Halifax Chamber of Commerce → membership! We’re pumped to collaborate, learn, and grow with HRM’s amazing businesses.

We love Nova Scotia. We also love the internet. And all things digital, really. So it makes sense to become a member of the Digital Nova Scotia → community. A match made in cyber heaven!

Pop the confetti! After 2,192 days (or a glorious six years!) of freelancing adventures, it’s time for a level-up! It’s been a wild ride, but today, we’re flipping the script and launching the design studio I’ve been dreaming of since my crayon days!
